Overview

Theoradus was the dragon that lived in a cave near Creel's home, Carlieff. He hadn't been seen in generations so everyone around assumed that he was gone. But Creel's Aunt decided that he was the Dragon that Creel would go to so she could be rescued by a Knight who would in turn rescue the entire family from poverty.

Theoradus was just tired of the mischief that human's caused so all he wanted to do was talk with Creel to find out how much problems she was going to cause him.

Hoard

He kept a hoard of shoes (Human shoes) and he gave Creel a pair from his hoard in exchange for leaving and taking the brave knight with her so he wouldn't have to bother.

"...This third cavern was the largest yet, and every square foot of it was covered in wooden racks holding shoes. Women’s shoes, men’s shoes, children’s shoes. There were boots and dancing slippers and sandals. Shoes made of cloth and leather and wood. There were fanciful pointed slippers with bells on the upturned toes and men’s work boots with thick soles..."[1]

The only shoes she could find in the entire hoard that fit her were blue slippers.

They were a rich azure blue, and made from very soft, thick leather. They had no laces, but slipped over the foot to reach a little way up the front and back of the ankle. The heels were low, the soles were made of some stiffer dark gold leather, and the interiors were lined with white silk.[2]

Summary

Dragon Slippers

While under the control of the Amalia of Roulain, during The Dragon Wars, he was killed.

As a tribute to him King Caxel arranged to have a museum built that would honor his hoard and make it open to the public, both human and dragons. Hagen was hired at the curator of Theoradus Museum and it was located near Carlieff.
